Dr Mitch Matoga

Dr. Matoga is a physician with training in infectious disease epidemiology and implementation science. He is a Research Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at UNC Chapel Hill, and the Director of STI Research and Clinical Services and the lead of the Implementation Science Research Unit at UNC Project-Malawi. He is the co-chair of the HIV Prevention Trials Network (HPTN) Science Committee on STIs and a member of WHO's Technical Advisory Group on STIs and the Gonorrhea Guideline Development Group.
