
Getting to Busselton, Western Australia
The 25th International Pathogenic Neisseria Conference (IPNC) will be held in Busselton, Western Australia, from 13–17 September 2026. Busselton is a beautiful coastal city in the Margaret River Region, located 2.5hrs (drive) south of Perth.
We have outlined a few options to help you plan your journey to Busselton.
Arriving in Western Australia
Most international flights will arrive at Perth Airport (PER), which services direct flights from many destinations in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, as well as domestic connections across Australia.
From Perth, you can continue your journey to Busselton by car, or coach.
Option 1: Fly to Busselton
Busselton Margaret River Airport (BQB) is about 10 minutes from the Busselton town centre.
Airlines direct to Busselton:
From Sydney: with Jetstar approx. 4 hours.
From Melbourne: with Jetstar approx. 4 hours.

Option 2: Drive to Busselton
Busselton is approximately a 2.5–3 hour drive south of Perth via the Forrest Highway and Bussell Highway.
Car hire is available at Perth Airport and in the city, giving you the flexibility to explore the Margaret River Region at your own pace.
The drive is straightforward and scenic, with opportunities to stop at coastal towns, wineries, and attractions along the way.
