We are delighted to announce that the 25th International Pathogenic Neisseria Conference (IPNC), that will take place in Busselton, Western Australia from 13 -17th September, 2026. IPNC is the premier event for the international scientific community working on control measures for invasive meningococcal disease and gonorrhoea. The conference will feature cutting-edge research, announcements on clinical trials and policy areas regarding the implementation of new interventions in clinical diagnosis and prevention of these two important human diseases. The conference venue is located in Busselton, located in the Margaret River Valley outside of Perth, Western Australia. Best known for its tourism, Busselton is a growing regional centre with a diverse vibrant local economy. This meeting will set the agenda for the next two years in this exciting period where we are striving for the elimination of invasive meningococcal disease and global reduction in the incidence of gonorrhoea.

Busselton
Busselton Jetty is the longest timber‑piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, spanning 1.84 km. It also features an Underwater Observatoryone that lets you view marine life 8 m below the sea without getting wet.
